iPhone users can now share original first-class photos and videos via WhatsApp: WhatsApp has updated its app to allow HD photo and video sharing. Previously, Android users could want to share original enjoyable photos and movies using the ‘File’ option. But iPhone users were bound to share files only. Now, with the new update, iOS users can share photos and movies exclusively through WhatsApp. To do this, update the WhatsApp app, open the chat window. Tap the ‘+’ icon, select the ‘Document’ option, and select ‘Choose a picture or video’. Understand that files larger than 2 GB cannot be shared. Only one image or video can be shared at a time. And sharing authentic quality photos may also result in higher information consumption and storage usage.

Being able to share reports on WhatsApp is nothing new. Android users have had this option for a while now and have been using the feature to share photos and movies seamlessly through WhatsApp.
iPhone users can now share original first-class photos and videos via WhatsApp: The iOS model of the app had the option of record sharing, however, it became limited to documents and files only. With the latest update, WhatsApp has now given a commit option “Select Image or Video” in the “Files” option which is located below the “+” icon on the chat window.
Here’s how you can share snapshots and movies exclusively through WhatsApp.
- Replace your WhatsApp app with Apple App Store
- Open the application and move to any chat window
- Tap the “+” icon at the bottom left (located before the text box)
- Select the Files option and then tap the “Choose photo or video” option
- Then, choose the image or video that you have a wish to share
- Hit the ship to proportion it.
Things to keep in mind
- When you consider that WhatsApp allows users to share documents up to 2 GB in size, any document larger than this cannot be shared.
- Only 1 image or video can be shared at a moment. The option to select some photos or videos is not available.
- If the record length is large, you should wait a while for it to be added and the same applies for the receiver in case of downloading a shared document.
- Sharing unique best snap shots can lead to high record intake for both sender and receiver
- It will also snatch more data from the smartphone’s garage.
