If you are already accustomed to using Copilot, you may like this information: Microsoft has already released a special Copilot software for Android devices. This way, it will not be necessary to use Bing to access the Microsoft Assistant.
Its release was so quiet that we didn’t learn about its life until a week later. But, right now it is the easiest one available for Android. iOS users will have to wait a little longer, though it’s uncertain how long that will take.
Not much different from chatgpt
When you take a closer look at the Copilot software, you will see that it is not much different from ChatGPT. Through the app, you’ll be able to do the same things you did with Copilot through Bing: draw images with DALL-E, compose emails or other files, and so on. Let’s not forget that it also has free access to GPT-4, which we can use in ChatGPT but will have to pay for its Plus version.
The launch of the utility comes a month after Microsoft formally renamed Bing Chat to Copilot. Redmond launched its own AI initiative earlier this year and integrated it with its search engine Bing. Now, Microsoft has dropped the Bing Chat name altogether to make Copilot an experience equivalent to ChatGPT (it also has its own Internet site).
What will be Microsoft’s next step? Similar to OpenAI, apparently this will be an improvement in applications for Copilot. We may also have to wait for Copilot to be released on iOS. But, this does not mean that we cannot apply it on our iPhone or iPad: we just have to access it through the Bing app, which is available on the App Store.
