The state investors and Moscow police had completely denied online rumors coming regarding the homicides of four students at the university of Idaho during the news conference that happened on Sunday afternoon, urging the public members to only rely on official sources when it comes to finding information regarding slayings.
It’s already been a week since the students were stabbed to death when they were in their beds, which shook the mosque or small town and especially the community of the University of Idaho. Even after a week, detectives are yet unable to identify a suspect in such an unfortunate scenario.
The four victims who had to give up on their lives “Ethan Chapin, 20, of Conway, Skagit County; seniors Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho; and junior Xana Kernodle, 20, of Post Falls, Idaho.”
From the four, Chapin was in a relationship with Kernodle and the two women were housemates. All these four members were associated with sororities and fraternities.
The President of the University of Idaho, C.Scott Green has already mentioned that the university has asked its instructors to create both remote and in-person learning as major students or express concerns to return to the campus.
As mentioned by Green, “We will be communicating decisions early this week so that families can discuss and plan their individual response over the Thanksgiving break.”
The very first call to 911 was made from inside the house at around 11.5 8 AM. It was made on king Road by two surviving roommates directly from their cell phones to the Moscow police department as nouns. My name is New Saturday evening. The Call requested the police to give aid to the unconscious person.
Roger Lanier, who is the Moscow police captain, reiterated that the department has reached different individuals as the potential suspect and has been circulating it online. These were the two roommates who survived, the man who was found in the food truck where Goncalves and Mogen were found at around 2 AM, and also the private party that gave Goncalves and Mogen a ride to their home.
He also mentioned that information regarding the identity is still under speculation. Investigators have already mentioned that Goncalves and Mogen have made a range of phone calls to someone between 2 to 3 AM as there were several online outlets reported.
Detectives also believe that the surviving roommate spent their night out separately in Moscow, on 12th November and returned home by 1 AM. And they did not wake up until the 13th of November.
The victims were also found with some defensive wounds, but all four were stabbed multiple times. James Fry, the police chief said the investigators were not yet able to understand how the individual killer could easily stop four people, but not wake the surviving two roommates.
