Twitter will soon let organisations identify associated accounts

After acquiring Twitter for $44 bn, The billionaire owner is continuously bringing lots of changes to the platform every day. In its latest move, Elon Musk announces that Twitter will soon enable organizations to identify Twitter accounts associated with them. Elon takes this step to limit fake accounts on the platform.

“Rolling out soon,” Musk in a tweet on Sunday said. “Twitter will enable organizations to identify which other Twitter accounts are actually associated with them.”

Several users expressed their thoughts on the post of Elon.

One user asked:

“Will any user be able to create an organization? Or will Twitter be the arbiter of what constitutes an organization?”

“Ultimately, I think there is no choice but for Twitter to be the final arbiter, but I’m open to suggestions,” Musk replied.

Fake Accounts are the biggest issue for any platform. Fake accounts purporting to be big brands have popped up with the blue check since the new roll-out, including Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX, as well as Roblox, Nestle, and Lockheed Martin.

Due to the Fake Account problem, The Microblogging platform owner pauses it’s recently announced $8 blue check subscription service. Elon also brought back the “official” badge to some users of the social media platform.

The Platform has also postponed its Blue service with verification after facing a slew of criticism recently as people bought the verified badge with Blue service. Now, there are speculations that the service is going to release in the next month.

Twitter has also laid off 4,400 of its 5,500 contract employees, with cuts expected to have a significant impact on content moderation and core infrastructure services. The new owner has raised the possibility of the social media platform going bankrupt, the day its trust and safety leader exited the company.

After acquiring Twitter last month, Elon Musk has brought lots of changes to the platform. He first set off all the Chief Executives of the Company. Besides this, he laid off 50 percent employees of the Company.

Now, he is working on making the working conditions harder for the rest of the Employees. Ex-CEO Parag Agrawal announced that the Employees are free to work from the place which they found more Comfortable.

However, in his first interaction with the Employees, Elon asks Employees to come into the Office and work 80 hours a week. He warned that those who are not comfortable in coming Offices should get ready to receive their termination letter. It is really gonna interesting to see What else Elon will do to make this platform successful.
