How to Redeem Amazon Gift Card Codes: Yes! You have received your Amazon Present Card! Maybe it’s your birthday, graduation day or anniversary. Whatever the occasion, you’ve earned some free dollars, but how do you cash them in? In this article, we’ll teach you step-by-step how to apply gift cards to Amazon online and on the app, so you can buy what you want quickly and easily.
Online
Log in to your Amazon account.
- Go to Amazon’s website and click the “Sign In” button in the top right corner (next to the search bar).
- You must have an Amazon account to redeem gift cards and buy anything on Amazon. So, if you don’t already have an account, take a moment to sign in.
Click on the “Your Account” tab.
- When you check in, it’ll be in the same place as the “Sign In” button: in the upper right corner next to the search bar.
- You can also glide your cursor over the “Your Account” tab and tap on “Your Account” at the top of the drop-down menu.
Find and click the “Redeem a Current Card” option.
- How to Redeem Amazon Gift Card Codes: A series of square icons will appear once you sign in to your account. Select the icon that announces “Gift Card.” Then, click on the “Redeem Gift Card” option under “Your Current Card Balance” at the top of the web page.
Enter your gift card declaration code inside the empty field.
- As soon as you select “Redeem Current Card Code” a new screen will load. Use the 14- or 15-person code inside the section under “Input claim code (Dash is no longer required)” in your Amazon gift card and click “Track your stability.” Amazon will now withdraw cash from this balance at checkout unlike your everyday payment approach.

Inside the application
Open the app and sign in to your Amazon account.
- If you’re not already signed in to the app, tap the different icons at the bottom of your screen. Choose “Register” and enter your email address and password.
Go to your “Bills” and tap “Manage current card balance.”
- After signing in, tap the man or woman icon again and scroll down until you reach the section titled “Payments.” Select the second menu option called “Manipulate Gift Card Balance.”
Click on “Redeem Another Gift Card” and enter your claim code.
- V: After selecting “Manage Current Card Balance”, you will be redirected to another display screen that will suggest your current gift card balance. Click the first option below “Control Your Stability,” enter your claim code in the empty field, and select “Exercise.”
- Once the existing card balance is applied to your account, Amazon will use this balance during checkout instead of your normal price approach.
- Try scanning the claim code of a physical gift card with your camera using the “Use your claim code” function to speed up the process.
- Find your claim code on your digital gift card confirmation email or at the bottom of the physical gift card.

Buying amazon gift cards
Add cash to existing gift card balance using “Reload your balance”.
- In the “Gift Cards” tab of your Amazon account, click the yellow icon “Reload your balance” below “Your current card balance.” You will be taken to a brand new display screen where you can enter the amount you wish to load onto your account or enter an existing balance.
- Instead, you can scroll to the very bottom of Amazon’s website and select the “Reload your balance” option below “Amazon Payments Products.”
- Within the app, go to the “Manipulate Gift Card Balance” tab and select “Reload your balance.”
Buy gift cards from the “Current Cards” page.
- V: On Amazon’s website, select the “All” menu in the upper left corner below the Amazon logo. Scroll down to “Programs and Features” and click the “Current Card” option. Select “All Gift Cards” to purchase physical and digital gift cards or “E-Gift Cards” to view only digital cards.
- Keep in mind that you can’t use the gift card to purchase other gift cards on Amazon.
Buy physical gift cards in stores.
- If you don’t want to purchase the card online, find an Amazon Present Card at your nearest grocery, convenience, or digital store. Typically, anyone who sells gift cards may have an Amazon card available for purchase.
- Amazon Present cards are available in installments of $15, $25, $50, and $100.
